The YF-S201 Hall Effect Water Flow Meter Sensor is designed to measure the flow rate of liquids with precision and reliability. Utilising the Hall effect principle, it detects the flow rate by measuring the rotation of a rotor placed within the liquid flow. This sensor is commonly used in applications such as water dispensers, coffee machines, and other systems requiring accurate flow measurement.
The sensor operates within a voltage range of 4.5V to 18V DC and can measure flow rates from 1 to 30 litres per minute. It features a compact design with a 1/2″ nominal pipe connection, making it easy to integrate into various piping systems. The output is a digital pulse signal, where the frequency is directly proportional to the flow rate, allowing for straightforward interfacing with microcontrollers and other digital systems.
